| got my bags packed (stuffed with food) and i'm ready to go the airport. hope i'm not over the weight limit! ugh, whose idea was it to book a 6 AM flight??? i'm working on NO sleep and have been watching the vampire diaries to keep me awake.

| i breezed through security in minutes, even with being "randomly" selected for screening. ahh the perks of getting to the airport at 4:30 AM. did i mention that i almost didn't make it?? the car decided to have a "power service emergency" on the way. i guess that its fancy, alarmist way of saying "dude, your alternator is about to die." btw, where it says flight time 1:25 PM - that's wrong. it's supposed to be 6:04 AM. when will united finally get their sh-t together? it's a good thing i can't read!

| at the westin gaslamp quarter - heavenly! so glad they let us check in early, considering we landed at 10:30 AM!

up next, time to take a stroll down to the convention center and check out the happenings down there (i'll try NOT to get hit by a car - i can't believe that really happened. tragic.) then, it's off to badge pick up!!
