bunny is in italy

here are some photos from my trip to italy - mangia!  btw, i don't care what those people at olive garden try to tell you, it's NOT pronounced "pasta fazool!"  i may or may not have been laughed at for that.  and while i'm at it, there's no such thing as gabagool or mootzarel either!

going to italy!  hopefully i'll get my own seat on the way back. what a couple of cheap bastards.

on the eurostar train, travelling from rome to florence

in front of ghiberti's famous bronze doors of the baptistery in florence

at the arno river in florence...pretttty.  hope i don't fall in!  a good breeze will send me tumbling.

taking a day trip to siena and san gimignano!  we all get stickers so they know who's part of the tour group.

having lunch in piazza del campo in siena.  ahhh....acqua naturale (no fizzies)

i got a pretty good seat facing the piazza

and i brought friends

hanging out in the piazza in san gimignano

chillin' on the spanish steps at night - it's our first night in rome

at the trevi fountain.  this was just steps from our hotel so we got to see it every day.  i can't carry any coins to throw in the fountain so i guess i won't get to return to rome...non importa, i can't throw over my head anyway.

outside st. peter's basilica.  they don't allow bunnies in churches around here.  check out this cool dude next to me...

in vatican city.  can you see me???  everything here is monstrously HUGE.

at the spanish steps in the morning.  it's MUCH less crowded now!

at the piazza del popolo.  if you've read Angels and Demons then you know why i'm here.  lots of stuff seemed to be covered in scaffolding during my visit.  and then they think if they put up a picture of the what it looks like, it makes it all better.  hmpf.

at the pantheon.  i'm sure it used to be a much prettier building before they stole everything to build st. peter's basilica.  poor pantheon!  it's still massive though - look how small the people are standing next to it.

mmmmm...cappuccino!  yummy.  taking a break from our tour.  note to loud american lady, screaming "latte, latte, latte!" at the barista won't help you get what you want.

at the colosseum

they didn't do a very good job of maintaining this place.

do i smell?  how come no one wants to stand next to me?

whew, i'm bushed!  let's go home!

want to see more bunny travels?  let me know in the comments section below!

bunny is at comic-con 2012

ok, just want to say sorry to all my (two) followers for not being able to make more posts.  it was a whirlwind of a (long) weekend!  here are some highlights:

.
wha...huh?  these early morning wake-ups are killer!  need.  more.  sleep

OK, so i heard the lines were long at comic-con but this is ridiculous.  i hope there's less than 6500 people in line in front of me!

ahh...it's nice to finally get to the grassy area of the line.  at least i can almost see the hall H entrance from here.

since we're going to be here for a while, i may as well set up my chair and get comfy.

my line buddies kathy and don.  hey look, that's quentin tarantino driving by!

here i am, finally made it into the panel in exhibit hall H!  hmm, i don't think i'll be getting too many good photo opportunities in here.  i'm all washed out!

after all my line waiting, i unfortunately did not make it in to see the hobbit panel.  :(    i heard they found frodo backstage and had him join the panel too.  wah.

but my reward for 11 hours of line-waiting anguish was this memorable moment from the iron man 3 panel.  much bunny love for robert downey jr and all his awesome-ness.  i can watch this over and over (and i have!).  bunny -n- RDJ 4eva

P.S. - my other new love - chris hardwick from the nerdist.  i'm a fan.

they threw a party for all the comic-con attendees, hosted by rob zombie

who IS this rob zombie guy anyway?  i guess i need to eat more carrots because i can't see him very well even though he was only 10 feet in front of me.

random images set to music at the dawn of the con party.  woo-hoo, party!  and guess what?  there's a line here as well...people waiting to buy custom made t-shirts or something?  ugh, i don't want to deal with any more lines!

here's some of my SWAG.  my favorite is my goody bag from game of thrones.  i think the shirt is going to be too big for me though - it's a size L.  it's house lannister but i love tyrion so we're all good.

more SWAG!  for some reason i REALLY wanted that revolution pin.  i did not watch the preview or visit the display and i have no idea what the show is about but i HAD TO HAVE THAT PIN!  score!

we got poster tube swag from fox to hold all our poster swag.  i have LOTS of posters.  and pins.  what am i going to do with all these posters and pins???  i can barely wear one pin at a time.

chilling with my new friend Domo on the steps leading up to the sails pavilion.

my last day.  i think that's the omni hotel behind me.  *sigh* so long san diego!  i miss you already.

back in first class with my fancy lunch - chicken sandwich.  got my cookie this time!

i knew it was too good to be true.  bumped back to coach with the regular folks for the 2nd leg of our trip but i'm ready to be home.

sorry for the lack of better photos but we just weren't quick enough with the camera to get the shots i wanted.  feel free to post your comments or questions below!  or should we call them quemments?  ;D

badges? bunny don't need no stinking badges!

the convention center....and lots and lots and LOTS of people!

lines?  what lines?  so this is the difference between badge pick up at 3PM and pick up at 6 PM.  i can only imagine the massive number of people snaking through this line earlier...and the wait for the shuttle back to the convention center!  holy huge hat, lady!  can you find me in this pic?

got my badge!

and my vampire diaries bag, souvenir book and event guide - woo hoo!

bunny is prepping for comic-con 2012!

got all my electronic gear together - my cell, tablet, mobile hotspot, external battery charger and (not shown) cables, cables, cables!

got my bags packed (stuffed with food) and i'm ready to go the airport.  hope i'm not over the weight limit!  ugh, whose idea was it to book a 6 AM flight???  i'm working on NO sleep and have been watching the vampire diaries to keep me awake.

i breezed through security in minutes, even with being "randomly" selected for screening.  ahh the perks of getting to the airport at 4:30 AM.  did i mention that i almost didn't make it??  the car decided to have a "power service emergency" on the way.  i guess that its fancy, alarmist way of saying "dude, your alternator is about to die."  btw, where it says flight time 1:25 PM - that's wrong.  it's supposed to be 6:04 AM.  when will united finally get their sh-t together?  it's a good thing i can't read!

ahhhhh, first class.  can't beat the ample leg room.  oops, forgot to buckle up!

breakfast time!  i think i'm going to dive headfirst into that cinnamon bun, nom nom nom.

at the westin gaslamp quarter - heavenly!  so glad they let us check in early, considering we landed at 10:30 AM!

up next, time to take a stroll down to the convention center and check out the happenings down there (i'll try NOT to get hit by a car - i can't believe that really happened.  tragic.)  then, it's off to badge pick up!!
